Very good vet. Have used this facility with a dog I had was treated very very wrll
We will never use Bald Knob Veterinary Clinic for any reason. They posted a yorkie for rehoming earlier this weekend. We went to pick her up and were told that her only ongoing issue was her teeth. We did manage to get a small portion of her record from them and took her to our vet the following day for a check up. She seemed to be fine except being overweight and having bad teeth. Later that day she started coughing and wheezing. After calling our vet we noticed her cough sounded wet. We rushed to the vet where she was given lasix, a breathing treatment, and oxygen but nothing was helping. We noticed on her record that Bald Knob said she had been given lasix but we weren't sure why....then it clicked that it was congestive heart failure. This baby had always been to Bald Knob Vet, and they had treated her for CHF in the past but this very big piece of information was not shared with us. We had to have her put down because she had suffered from CHF for so long that she was not responding to treatment. Had we been given the information about her CHF, we would have still taken her but would have made sure she had the necessary medicine. The purpose of a vet is to humanely treat animals....seeing this dog struggle to try to breath is proof that Bald Knob Vet failed at their job.
Very good experience; Was in and out in no time at all and it only cost a fraction of what other vets in the area were charging. Very personable and professional doctors and receptionists. Will be going back many times!
If I could give zero stars, I would. This vet failed a sweet puppy.
