No fire pits no picnic tables. I got a really half a$$ed site. Checked in around 5 pm stayed two days n left at 4 pm. The guy charged me for half a day extra, said check out is at 11. Even though he never previously stated that. N I owe him 15 for half a day. So to put it simply I was here 47 hours n paid for 2 n a half days. He got GREEDY when he found out we weren't staying long term. Won't be back.
The owner Mr. Barnes is just like the simpsons character in old thieving money hungry bastard. Charged me and my family a extra day stay even when we were pulling out at 9:00. He came on is POS tractor and began to threaten me and my kids. With no obvious resolve, I called the law so the police officer stayed there so he did not destroy our 5th wheel while a I had to go to a A.T.M to get the cash. This man had no shame in taking advantage of a young family working and living on the road. I would stay anywhere but here. I'm not the first and I know i won't be the last for him to take advantage of.
Quiet, clean park. The owners couldn't be nicer. Will definitely come back if we're ever in the area!
Can't beat the hospitality! We were just over nightingale but they were very helpful and friendly.
Sights were not clean, picnic tables were not there, no playground, and even when I with my children, they could not ride their bikes. This guy is a grumpy old man.
Best place to stay. Mr. and Mrs. Barns are wonderful. I will miss the strawberry short cakes they brought me every now and then in evening time. They made us feel like family. Quiet park. Very clean. and they keep the grounds groomed beautiful. If your in the area this is a very nice place. If we come back to this area we will stay here. I already miss them.
